The first step in delivering SUPPORT is to know your school.  To do so we generate your unique school profile to customize the program to fit within your school environment and culture.  This includes but is certainly not limited to scheduling, teaching methods, classroom needs and faith.  Once we have an understanding of your school environment, we begin our search for a teacher that will best align with your school.

Our TEACHERS come from many different backgrounds which offers a one of a kind, cultural learning experience and your teacher is guaranteed to relate to your students as they too have experienced learning a second language!  Regardless of background, every Viva Spanish!® teacher sees the importance of learning a second language at a young age.   The teachers we employ are qualified, verified and supported to ensure that you get the best possible educator for your students.  Teachers are interviewed in Spanish and English.  Upon joining Viva Spanish!®, the teachers are required to complete the Comprehensive Viva Spanish!® Training.  Each summer following, teachers are prepped for the school year in training where they revisit previous procedures, learn new methods, gather information and receive specialized training.

To further support you and your school, we employ Spanish Managers who are dedicated to supporting each of our teachers and their individual and school needs.  After a teacher's initial interview, the Spanish Managers (Aleris, Maria & Hanna) hand pick and select the best teacher for your school, conduct classroom observations, support teachers, coach, create professional development opportunities, offer feedback as well as assist principals with scheduling and other program details.​​​​

What do we do to ensure quality lessons?

Our lessons are guaranteed to deliver; we have been perfecting them since 1996! Our teachers are given access to our proprietary LiveBinder to provide them with all the lesson plans, extra activity plans and beyond.  Not only does our CURRICULUM ensure our program is successful and consistent throughout our clients and schools, but it also creates an environment that a substitute can seamlessly step in to teach without missing a beat! 

 

Furthermore, we employ an instructional coach (Lawrence) who is dedicated and passionate about the art of teaching Spanish!  Lawrence oversees lessons, their delivery, creates professional development opportunities and is a master at navigating grading platforms (should your school choose to track grades).  In addition to all of the resources available to our educators and students in the LiveBinder (bonus - we have study games), we use our very own Viva Spanish!® Workbooks and utilize many music videos paired with movements in our lesson plans - sure to excite and engage students of all ages!  Our workbooks offer activities that reinforce the day's lessons as well as offer time for creativity and of course, more fun!

 

Our curriculum was created by our Owner and President, Hannah, who encourages our teachers to utilize their unique talents and ideas in the classroom to further enrich the student experience.  Our team continues to raise the bar with every passing year as we know our work is never done; we are actively looking for ways to improve through technology, teaching and more!
